1pm, Tuesday, 14 June, Berkeley Square, Mayfair: Come and see where the Tory Government’s Housing and Planning Act shakes hands with London Labour Councils, as local authorities sell off the land our council estates stand on to the highest bidders in London’s booming real estate market.
This is a call-out for anyone who can make noise from 1pm on 14 June 2016 at Berkeley Square, London W1J. We really need some 12 volt sound systems to make some proper noise, just turn up, bring the noiz!
The London Real Estate Forum is open from 9-5 in the heart of Mayfair, home to the filthy rich tax-avoiding bastards that are turning London into an investment opportunity for offshore capital. Their security gimps may be able to lock us out, but they can’t shut us up.
Bring sound systems, drums, whistles, megaphones, clappers, vuvuzelas, and anything else that can drown out the dirty deals that are selling our city out from under our feet.
London Labour Councils flogging our homes at the Forum include: Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Ealing, Hackney, Haringey, Enfield, Waltham Forest, Newham, Barking & Dagenham. Tory Councils include: Westminster and KFC (Kensington & Fucking Chelsea).
Speakers at the two-day conference include:
— Cllr Peter John, Leader, Southwark Labour Council, last seen at the Kill the Housing Bill meeting last week, telling us how opposed Labour is to the Housing and Planning Act.
— Cllr Lib Peck, Leader, Lambeth Labour Council, last seen flogging your homes at Cannes MIPIM.
— Cllr Tony Newman, Leader, Croydon Labour Council.
— Cllr Darren Rodwell, Leader, Barking & Dagenham Labour Council.
— Cllr Guy Nicholson, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Hackney Labour Council, last seen at the Birkbeck/UEL conference on London’s “Housing Crisis and its Activisms” last month, telling us how opposed Labour is to the Housing and Planning Act.
The London Real Estate Forum is officially supported by the new Labour Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and sponsored by Labour Council real estate advisors Savills.
P.S. Don’t forget, it’s all the fault of the Tories.
